VERKRAG & Throne of Malediction - 'Never Enough' Official Music Video

On the beautifully blasphemous date of sinful Sunday December 13^th 2009 VERKRAG released it’s debut album entitled ’13 Victims’ featuring 9 Psychotic Black Metal tracks. The album is a story album and features photography art by 13 Alternative models from around the globe to give this story a visual representation. (Some of the models also work with Wrath Passion, Dark Funeral, Hate, Devian and Skeleton Witch to name but a few)

In this past year the fanbase grew to a total of approximately 23 000 (across all social networking sites) Myspace page views alone exceed 105 000 and plays are at 44 000 +

Verkrag had international airplay, interviews and reviews and also did collaboration tracks with bands and projects from Norway, U.S.A and Malta. One of these collaboration tracks was with Throne of Malediction and is entitled ‘Never Enough’. The track has been online since May 13th 2010 and as far as I know this is the 1st time ever South African and American Black/Death Metal musicians have collaborated in creating a piece together. That obviously also makes this the 1st collaboration Music Video between U.S.A and South African artists to be released.

The Back Room is produced by 3DT Productions, which was born out of a love for music, recording,and music creation in 2003. After writing music and sound fx on a number of films, Tim Stover and Dave Murray started crewing films. The “Grindhouse Style” has been brought back to prominence by Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriquez in 2007 with their films “Death Proof” and “Planet Terror.” A journey into the mind of a serial killer, “The Back Room” is filled with blood, gore and highly disturbing images. Some of the content in the film is so disturbing that the “Christmas in the Back Room” trailer was banned from being distributed on some social media sites.

The Inquisition - Sandmist feat. Obscure & Verkrag (August 2010)

Vanja Plavsic Obscure, a sexy 17 year old female vocalist and lyricist, recently contacted me about doing guest for Sandmist from Zebbug,Malta. She sent me the lyrics and Oliver M Grech, the man behind Sandmist, sent me the recording. I was blown away and immediately agreed. VERKRAG DOES GUEST VOCALS FOR NORWEGIAN BLACK METAL BAND WRATH PASSION !!!

I am thrilled to announce that I did guest vocals for Norwegian Black Metal band Wrath Passion on one of their tracks entitled ‘Black Hole’. Wrath Passion is one of Norway’s fastest growing new bands and currently number 5 on the ReverbNation national metal charts for Norway.

The complete version of ‘Black Hole’ was uploaded by Wrath Passion on 1 Feb and this is the 1st time ever South African and Norwegian Black Metal musicians have worked together in creating a Black Metal piece.

The All Star Battle of the Bands kicked off on February 10th 2010 and started with 24 bands battling it out. The 24 bands are all winners from the past 24 monthly contests. Verkrag was automatically entered since I won the very 1st battle as Sanguinarus.

Verkrag made it through 4 rounds of elimination and won the final round and the right to be called the best band of the past 2 years of the contest.

Success comes from hard work, but I could not have done this without the great support from all the friends & fans. An amazing feeling to see that one's work is appreciated by so many. Thanks to each and every one for the votes.
